First CD Reviews!

We've got a couple of early CD reviews for our new disc: Beethoven & Ravel.

From ConcertoNet.com:

"The Claremont Trio is the way classical music should be played: soulful, passionate, yielding, discerning, evocative and informative. It is no wonder this talented threesome is paving a new avenue of brilliance and innovation for the new millennium."

From Classical Candor:

"The three women have performed together for over a decade since their Juilliard debut, and their playing has merged into one voice, sonorous, delicate, nuanced, and powerful... They are a pleasure."

The Claremont is the greatest piano trio ever! If you don't believe that, be sure to go to Jordan Hall in Boston this Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. to hear them play Beethoven's Archduke Trio! But get tickets in advance, because they have been selling like hotcakes!

I bought your new CD at your Richmond concert last month, and I fully agree with all the rave reviews.

Furthermore, as I was reading through the notes on the composers, I was impressed with their lucid style, erudition, and fascinating insights into the young Beethoven's rivalry with his teacher, Haydn. I assumed that you had found some eminent musicologist to do the notes; then I discovered that the "eminent musicologist" was none other than Julie!
