Observed at the Airport

A 7-year-old boy in a suit having his shoes shined, sitting earnestly with a wad of $1 bills in his fist, anxious to tip.

A sales person wandering in the boarding area using little stuffed airplanes to tempt passengers to sign up for the United Airlines credit card. Who knew stuffed airplanes could be so cute??

A man at the rental car counter: having left his driver's license at home, he was trying to convince the agent that his passport was good enough. Dude... come on...

A baggage handler who had just finished unloading the suitcases from the plane's hold onto the conveyer belt leading down to the truck. Rather than hopping down from the plane, he rode down the conveyer himself on his stomach, head first, like he was diving. Fun!

Emily, you are dissembling, making light about what happened at the airport. How come you don't talk about your concerts at Stanford and in Carmel? Some people thought that they were terrific! Is it true that you sold 100 CD's at Carmel? Self-promotion of your CD's has been so successful that I am considering abandoning Telarc and setting up a company called BZanderTheBestCD'sCo. If so, can I persuade you to record for my new label???

Speaking of which, when are you ladies going back to the studio? And FYI, can (or could) Arabesque make it so that your current CD be made available on a retail level. I looked and looked (before I picked it up at your concert), but not even Nubury Comics had it on their database which covers all their stores (in RI/So.MA region). The Beethoven and Shostakovich pieces you cover need to be included in future recordings...pleeze, pretty pleeze:)

You three are really amazing musicians. What lies in store for you? How long is the trio going to be together?

As a person who travels alot for my work, I can understand what time away from friends and family can do to a person... But looking at your tour schedule, it tops anything I've ever done! Must be tough, just want to say to stay strong, you're audiences feel it is totally worth it... Oh yeah, how about a few more cd's?!! :)
