Ice Cream
Few things make the Claremont Trio (Julie in particular) happier than ice cream. And free ice cream at the end of a long day of travel is about as good as it gets. Here was the list of flavors that were on offer at the Silverhorn Motor Inn, complete with some no sugar added options.
And these weren't puny little servings either but heaping bowls full!

I am puzzled! How can the members of the Claremont Trio eat so much ice cream and still manage to stay so skinny???????

Very charming!
You see:-/ Ice Cream is an emotionally healthier vice than drinking booze, and it won't give one a gut after years of consumption, or cause one's health & well-being to go haywire[-P It can serve as a catharsis for being away from loved ones. You can't get a hangover from ice cream, and it creates less of a headache for Mr. Zoe and the Inn staff when the guests aren't bombed out in their room doing God knows what.
