The Essentials for a Road Tour

As some of you may remember, we went on an extended road tour a couple of years ago for an organization called Allied Concert Services. We have embarked on another tour for this wonderful organization, and here are some of my recommended essentials for a successful road tour.

You will need a driver, like Ryan Julien (pictured above). In addition, coffee, snacks (like nuts and chocolate-covered espresso beans) and water are all necessary!

Also, this time around, we requested a mini-van with bucket seats and headrests. We highly recommend them.

Please don't ask Ryan to stop for you to do any cow-tipping, for it is cruel to ridicule while they stand in slumber. Thou shalt not cover Ryan's eyes while driving and say, "Guess Who!" No drinking of intoxicating spirits late at night to pass the time; verily it may inspire the near occassion of a pizza delivery. Give alms to the bratwurst, and thou shalt not throw brown eggs at people's windows from the sanctity of a traveling minivan. Alas, watch wholesome DVD episodes of Davey & Goliath on your long journey.

"I dough-know, Daa-veeey. rrr-Ruff!" saith Golaith, a 60s clay-mation brown dog.
