When we arrived in Merrill, WI, we found a local sports bar and grille for a lunch stop. Little did we know that it would offer much, much more.
In keeping with thoughts of warm, tropical places, Ryan ordered a very yummy-looking banana drink!
To celebrate our arrival into Wisconsin, we ordered cheese curds.
This was my first experience with them and I am happy to report that I will eat them again in the future!

Please extend these "drive-in ingredients" for New-England-styled Fried Seafood. Though whole & minced clams are quite expensive, if Micky D's is considered gourmet dining behind the Iron Curtain, then you can afford to spare serveral bucks or more on this:
Fried Clams--whole clams prepared with both yellow and WHITE corn meal.
Fish & Chips--add some Wisconsin beer (pilsner) to the fish batter.
Fried Clamcakes--don't be shy on the minced clams so you can get a scoopful in each cake before dropping it in the fryolator.
Make a "platter" out of it with seasoned fries, cold slaw and tartar sauce. On request only, drop the fries in the fried clam fryolator; otherwise always separate the 2...;-)/...
Dear Donna,
You could ask Aaron's parents to bring you some cheese curds when they come up for Julie's and Aaron's wedding in June! I am sure that they would be happy to oblige. And be sure to tell Ryan that he doesn't look a day older than when he chauffered you around two years ago! Stay warm!
