Green Room

We have seen a great many green rooms come in different sizes, shapes and forms, but at a recent concert in Southport, CT, we had a first -- a furry friend backstage!

This adorable furry pal brings to mind "The Great Rupert." A squirrel who tossed $100 bills down from the rafters until the money trail ceased, Rupert snagged Jimmy Durante's lit cigarette and torched the attic. The damage was contained, and Rupert went on to headline as The Dancing Squirrel in the circus, wearing a matching plaid kilt and cap! It's on DVD!!

The Brahms double concerto with the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra was outstanding last night. Emily, Julia, and the Orchestra were at their best. The thunderous applause after the concerto really said it all.
